A Minecraft world that becomes far more than a server.
NovaHills is being built as a persistent world, community, economy and civilisation. The public vision is simple: give players a world they can help shape, a city that can become a lasting home, and a platform that can grow far beyond its first chapter. The detailed systems, technical architecture, balancing, security measures and future mechanics are intentionally kept private while they are being developed.
The vision is public. The blueprint isn't.
We want people to understand what NovaHills is trying to become without publishing the internal design that makes it work. The public story is about the experience: a player-built capital, a persistent community, an evolving economy, growing settlements and a world whose history is created by its players. The implementation details remain protected until they are ready to be released.
A living city
A permanent player-built capital where people can live, create, work, trade and leave their mark on a world that continues after its first event.
A growing civilisation
Communities can grow beyond the first city into new settlements and territories, allowing the world to develop through player decisions over time.
A functioning economy
Resources, businesses, jobs and trade are intended to give the world a meaningful economy in which what players do has a purpose.
Player-made institutions
Major parts of the civilisation are intended to be created and operated by players rather than delivered as finished attractions.
A world with consequences
Future social, territorial and conflict systems are intended to create meaningful consequences while remaining governed by clear server rules and moderation.
A simulation platform
The long-term ambition is to explore controlled interactive scenarios for education, research, training and decision rehearsal without exposing the private mechanics that power them.
Where the story starts
The first chapter is a player-built capital designed to become part of the permanent NovaHills world.
150 players
A selected group of players will help establish the foundations of the first Capital.
125 plots
The event provides a structured development area while leaving the actual buildings to the players.
45 days
A concentrated creative-to-survival event turns the starting land into the first chapter of the city.
Permanent history
The event is a beginning, not a reset. The city and its history are intended to remain.
The Capital is only the beginning.
NovaHills is intended to keep expanding rather than reaching a fixed endpoint.
🏠 Life in Nova
Players can live, build, work, trade, create businesses and develop their own place within the wider community.
🌱 Expansion
New communities and settlements can emerge as players explore, develop land and shape the wider world.
🗺️ A changing world
The long-term map is intended to grow with the people who use it, rather than being a fixed experience with a predetermined ending.
One world. Many ways to participate.
NovaHills is being developed as an ecosystem around the core world.
🎮 Minecraft experiences
The wider network is intended to support City gameplay alongside Survival, Creative and other experiences.
🧩 Technology
Custom software, crossplay tools, account infrastructure and server technology are being developed as part of the wider NovaHills platform.
🌐 Community
Players, creators, developers and future partners all have a place in the long-term vision.
From a Minecraft world to a platform.
The destination is deliberately bigger than the first release.
🏗️ Build
Give players the tools and space to create something lasting.
🌐 Connect
Make the experience accessible across supported platforms and devices.
🧠 Explore
Eventually provide controlled environments where communities and organisations can explore complex scenarios.
Don't just make a server.
Build a world worth remembering.
NovaHills is deliberately showing the destination without publishing every route used to get there. The detailed engineering, balancing, security and future systems will be revealed when they are ready. What matters publicly is the experience we are trying to create — and the people who will create it with us.
